Parc entrance

Chiribiquete National Park is located on the northwestern edge of the Guiana Shield, a large geological plate in northern Latin America. The Park is strictly closed to visitors and actions taken by Colombian state entities focus on research and conservation, not least out of respect for the indigenous peoples for whom these areas are important in their ways of thinking.
